this thanksgiving holiday, my dad decided it would be fun to have a family destination celebration....the choice, Asheville, North Carolina!! i about did flips when it was chosen. i have not been to the mountains (on this coast) ever, other than the airport. we left the tues before t-giving and chose to break the 8 hour drive up with a stop in Atlanta. Thank you dad for that idea. we were able to have a nice dinner and get some good sleep before hitting the road again. all in all, the drive thus far has been pretty smooth and the views became quite breathtaking. hope this finds all of you surrounded by those you love, remembering those that are not, and realizing all to be very thankful for!!
