little rockstars

Today was the two's class turn to do the chapel music presentation and boy was it entertaining!! I surely thought that the kids would be more timid and not want to sing much and that was not it at all...jackson and his fellow classmates hooted it up and jammed to the music....we certainly have little rockers on our hands...that is no surprise to us because jackson has liked to shake his groove thing with music since the day he was born. they sang three songs; twinkle twinkle, baba blacksheep and abc's......it was just too cute and i was so mad at myself for no having the camcorder ready to go....

jackson was the loudest of the pack and the whole chapel!!

like mother, like daughter!!

this is for u mom.....
when my mom came to visit, she could not get over the fact that olivia already managed to fill her closet full by the age of 2 months old and what made her laugh even more was the way it was so meticulously organized!! come on mom, who's daughter is she anyway...would you expect any less?? i have already donated clothes of hers to the goodwill that she has outgrown...now i must admit that gives even me a laugh!! you know that i have to teach her, from the beginning, the priorities in life....right from wrong lesson #1, you can never have to many clothes, hehe (wink)!!

where does the time go?

Olivia rounded the two month mark this past weekend and i realized how much faster time is going by the second time around!! she is growing like weed and received perfect marks at her 8 week checkup this past monday from the Dr. olivia did however have to get 4 shots and one oral vaccine and boy did she not enjoy that!! i think that i cried as hard as her..... on the bright side, she has finally caught up to where all other babies her age usually are. we are enjoying every minute of littlemiss and reminding ourselves that every day is a blessing to watch olivia grow & change.

fun with friends

this past weekend, our friends carrie and jason invited us over to their new house for a cookout and fun in the sun.....needless to say, we had a blast and enjoyed every minute of the day. The Budds recently built a new home in st. augustine on a wonderful piece of property set way back in the woods.....this made for a stress-free visit for both mom and kids!i loved letting jackson run around with 100% freedom; without the anxiety of wondering if he was safe. minus a few spills from running too fast chasing brady and olivia, jackson came home in one piece with a grin a mile wide. there is something to living outside of city limits....i have never seen jackson have so much fun and not get into trouble once. thank you carrie and jay for a wonderful day, we need to do that again very soon!

flower power

every night after bath time, olivia likes to shake it down just like jackson used to do......tonight, she danced around sporting her first piece of mom-b attire, the flower power onesie. who knows, maybe she will have her mother' s love for the 80's music..."come on eileen" (wink)!!!

Blast Off

Today as jackson and i were playing, I was able to see just how big his imagination was becoming!!
Jackson asked me to help him get into his "rocket ship" and blast off with the Einstein's.....needless to say that meant grabbing a sweatshirt to use as the seat cushion, and he reminded me to wrap the arms of it around his waste to be used as the safety seatbuckle!! then I was instructed to shake the basket and tilt it to help him head up, up and away to the moon with leo......
I am loving every stage of his development, but this is truly the most fun; and you just never know what a play time might stir up. love u littleman, to the moon and back, with your Einstein power and all.

time well spent

the past few weeks have been spent mostly watching olivia sleep, grow and change....we have stuck to the doctor's recommendation of staying at home until her original due date and in doing that i think we have been able to relax and enjoy this precious time, it goes by WAY to fast :(
We have all been a little under the weather and are now just feeling better, olivia included. She had her very first cold; she fought it off like a champ and is better than ever now. My mom was in town all last week during the reign of the colds, but we did manage to enjoy the time with her and little man had the most fun catching gran up on all that he does now!!
