movie madness

there have been quite a few animated movies for kids that are in the theaters lately, so we have made dates to see a couple of them. some were hits and a couple were definitely misses!!! to say the least, DO NOT go see Rango, bad bad movie and so very inappropriate for kids. Olivia did get to see her first movie, and although it was not one of my favs, she loved the whole day and was so well behaved!! fun times for sure. we love our movie outing with mom and friends.

Downtown library

Jackson's school took all three four's classes on a field trip to the down town library. a sweet and fun trip. brought memories back of me and j going on adventures there before miss.o was born. a great afternoon.

Yankee Bound

I was lucky enough to get the time away to head north for a long weekend, grand pause........by MYSELF!!!! my uncle eddie was turning the big 50 and my aunt was throwing him a surprise party. since nathan could not get all the time off and the expense of four tickets was not an option either, nate said, "go and enjoy it for me" yay. when i stopped to think about it, i had not been up to NY alone in over a decade!!! crazy. the trip was wonderful, full of laughs and good times and some quiet rest away.
